DRESS CODE IT Force Series 'Devices' Update. Enhanced IT Asset Management Precision with Over 250 Detailed Data Items.
Dress Code Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuki Ejiri) has updated the "Devices" feature of the DRESS CODE "IT Force" series, expanding management items to over 250 categories, adding a wide range of devices including servers to the management scope, and enabling status management for lending and installation. This resolves issues that previously arose due to insufficient management items and limitations on managed device types, such as "inability to track users or installation locations" and "inability to comprehensively manage IT assets." By accurately tracking asset locations and usage status, daily operations such as inventory management and redistribution are streamlined, enabling effective utilization of unused devices. This prevents waste from unnecessary new procurement and contributes to IT cost reduction.
Background
Traditional device management was limited to managing basic items for a restricted range of device types such as PCs and mobile devices, and could not cover assets directly connected to core systems like servers. Additionally, management of field-relevant status information such as "who is using it" and "where it is installed" was insufficient, with many operations relying on Excel or spreadsheets. As a result, management gaps and person-dependent operations were not uncommon. To resolve these issues, we have updated "Device Management/Devices."
Product Overview
"Devices" is a core function for centrally managing information about all IT devices owned by companies. It can manage over 250 detailed data items for various devices including PCs, mobile devices, monitors, and servers, covering status information such as users, responsible parties, and installation locations, as well as lifecycle management items including procurement, delivery, maintenance, and disposal. By integrating device information that tends to be scattered across departments and locations, it accurately tracks asset locations and usage status, streamlines daily operations such as inventory management and redistribution, and realizes IT cost reduction through effective utilization of unused devices and suppression of new procurement. Additionally, with highly extensible data design, it supports integration with other functions such as lease/rental and disposal management, and MDM integration, serving as a foundation that covers the entire device lifecycle.
Major Update Features

Expansion of Management Items
Supports over 250 management items. In addition to basic device specifications, it can manage all detailed information that may be required for business operations, including battery information, BIOS, and port configuration. Furthermore, it supports network information and security status that can be obtained from MDM, comprehensively covering information necessary for device management.
Expansion of Management Scope
In addition to the previous PCs, mobile devices, tablets, and monitors, server management is now possible. By integrating with the "Licenses" product of the IT Force series, it enables centralized management of license information for OS and middleware installed on servers. Cancellation and reallocation of unused licenses become easier, preventing excessive license purchases and realizing cost reduction.

Enhanced Status Management
Users, responsible parties, and installation locations can be linked, enabling management of usage and installation status as statuses. Furthermore, the entire lifecycle from procurement, delivery, repair, replacement, to disposal can be centrally managed, allowing accurate tracking of asset location, responsibility, and usage history. This reduces security risks and ensures confident audit compliance.
