10. Voluntary nature of personal information

When using the various services we provide, the provision of necessary information is voluntary. However, if you do not provide the necessary information, we may not be able to provide our services or respond appropriately.

11. Disclosure of Personal Data, etc.

If you request that we notify you of the purpose of use, disclose, correct, add to or delete the content, stop using, erase, or stop providing to third parties (hereinafter collectively referred to as "disclosure of personal information"), we will comply with your request within the scope protected by the Personal Information Protection Act. 13. Data Retention and Deletion

The Company stores personal information for a period of time consistent with the business purposes for which it was collected. The Company retains personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (including, without limitation, retention obligations under the Personal Information Protection Act, the Companies Act, the Corporation Tax Act, the Labor Standards Act, and other applicable Japanese laws and regulations).

In determining the appropriate retention period, the Company considers (i) the nature and sensitivity of the personal information, (ii) the purposes for which the Company processes the personal information and whether those purposes can still be achieved by other means, (iii) the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, and (iv) any applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements.

When the applicable retention period expires for a given category of personal information, or when there is no longer a legitimate business or legal basis to retain such information, the Company will delete, destroy, or anonymize that information in a secure manner. Where complete deletion is not technically feasible (for example, because the personal information is stored in backup archives), the Company will securely isolate the personal information and prevent any further processing until deletion becomes possible.

Individuals may request deletion of their personal information in accordance with Section 11 (Disclosure of Personal Data, etc.) of this Privacy Policy. Such requests will be honored to the extent required or permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws.
