Thank you for using DRESS CODE. We are revising our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to clarify the rules for using AI Features and how we handle information entrusted to us by customers.

The revised Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will apply from the DRESS CODE product release on November 9, 2026. The current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy remain in effect until then.

  • We are adding Special Terms for AI Features to the Terms of Service, covering their scope, handling of input information, verification of outputs, rights in inputs and outputs, and prohibited acts.
  • We clarify that information entered into or processed by AI Features will not be used for training or further training of AI models (i.e., training that updates model parameters). External AI providers are also contractually prohibited from using the information for those purposes.
  • Article 14 of the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy clarify how we handle personal information entrusted to us by customers, including the creation of statistical information as part of the entrusted operations.
  • The Privacy Policy clarifies that we may outsource the handling of personal information to external AI providers to provide AI Features, and that our existing provisions on outsourcing of operations and on provision of information to third parties in foreign countries apply to such outsourcing.

Special Terms for AI Features (added after Article 30)

Current

This is a new provision.

Revised

"AI Features" means features provided through the Service using artificial intelligence, including answering questions, searching, summarizing, reading documents and forms, structuring, converting and mapping information to attributes. These special terms apply to the use of AI Features by a User that has subscribed to an AI Feature or a plan including AI Features and for which the feature is enabled, and by its officers, employees and other personnel (collectively, "AI Users"). These special terms prevail over conflicting provisions of these Terms with respect to AI Features.

The Company processes information entered into or otherwise processed by AI Features as part of operations entrusted by the User and only to the extent necessary to provide AI Features. The Company does not use this information for training or further training of AI models (i.e., training that updates model parameters). Where processing is outsourced to external AI providers, the Company contractually prohibits their use of the information for those purposes.

Outputs of AI Features may contain errors or omissions, and the Company does not warrant their accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. AI Users shall verify outputs as appropriate for their intended use and potential impact on business operations and, where necessary, compare them with original documents or other supporting materials before use.

Rights in input information remain with the User or the third party holding those rights and are not transferred to the Company. Even where any rights in outputs vest in the Company, it will not assert them to prevent AI Users from using outputs in accordance with these Terms. However, the Company does not warrant to AI Users that intellectual property rights in outputs will arise for AI Users, that outputs are original or that outputs do not infringe third-party rights. AI Users shall respect third-party rights when using inputs and outputs.

In addition to the prohibited acts in Article 12, AI Users shall not bypass access controls or authorization through prompts or other instructions to AI Features to obtain information they are not authorized to access. AI Users shall not input personal or confidential information unnecessary for the feature’s purpose, or authentication credentials such as passwords or API keys.
