IIJ Global Solutions Indonesia Adopts the DRESS CODE

Dress Code Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuki Ejiri; hereinafter "we" or "our company") is pleased to announce that our integrated workforce management platform, the DRESS CODE, has been adopted by PT. IIJ Global Solutions Indonesia (Head Office: Jakarta Pusat; President Director: Tokuo Nobuhiro; hereinafter "IIJ GS Indonesia").

The decision aims to optimize and streamline HR and IT asset management operations within Indonesia while also strengthening IIJ GS Indonesia's proposal capabilities toward its clients.

Background

Since its establishment in 2015, IIJ GS Indonesia has been providing comprehensive IT support to Japanese and local enterprises in Indonesia. Their services span from security, IT consulting, and system integration to operational support. In July 2025, IIJ GS Indonesia will begin providing services as an official reseller of Starlink, further expanding its internet connectivity offerings to underserved areas in the country.

With this rapid business expansion and Indonesia's growing labor force—expected to reach 153.05 million by 2025—the complexity of managing human resources and IT assets has become a pressing issue. Rising wages and increased employee turnover have added further challenges, especially in terms of governance.

A major issue has been the fragmented and manual management of information across departments, using different spreadsheets and operational procedures. This siloed and person-dependent management model has led to issues such as low visibility, duplicated tasks, and increased security risks.

Furthermore, IT procurement costs in Indonesia remain relatively high compared to Japan, making efficient and compliant IT asset management a vital theme for corporate operations. The digitalization wave and growing demand for IT skills also amplify the need for robust governance and cost-effective management.

In this context, IIJ GS Indonesia decided to adopt the DRESS CODE due to its ability to centrally manage people, devices, and applications through a unified architecture—achieving both operational efficiency and governance.

Expected Benefits of DRESS CODE

1. Integrated Management of Human Capital and IT Assets to Improve Efficiency and Governance

By linking HR data with IT asset information, the DRESS CODE consolidates dispersed operational data into a single platform. This eliminates the need for repetitive data entry and manual verification, significantly reducing workload during handovers. The system increases transparency and accuracy, eliminating dependence on individual know-how. As a result, it greatly enhances the efficiency of both HR and IT departments while contributing to overall organizational governance.

2. Visibility of Shadow IT and Unmanaged Devices to Reduce Security Risks

The DRESS CODE automatically detects and visualizes all software usage and device activity within the organization. This allows IIJ GS Indonesia to accurately identify shadow IT (unauthorized SaaS introduced by departments) and unmanaged devices (e.g., PCs, smartphones).

It eliminates risks such as inactive accounts tied to former employees or "black-box" operations of devices shared across departments. By doing so, it strengthens the company's overall security framework and greatly reduces the risk of data breaches or unauthorized access.

3. Cost Optimization and Strategic IT Investment Decisions

Through the DRESS CODE, organizations can conduct detailed analysis of actual software and device utilization. This helps identify unused licenses or surplus hardware, enabling cost reductions and efficient allocation of IT budgets.

With data-driven decision-making, companies can develop more effective IT strategies that directly enhance competitiveness.

The DRESS CODE HR Force Overview

Comment from Mr. Tokuo Nobuhiro, President Director, IIJ GS Indonesia

Indonesia's economy has developed remarkably in recent years. With over 150 million people in the workforce and surging IT demand, IIJ GS Indonesia continues to grow in both business scale and organizational structure.

In July 2025, we will begin providing Starlink services as an official reseller. Amid this expansion, the need for efficient and reliable management of IT assets and human resources has grown.

However, until now, we lacked a solution that could fully meet our needs—much of our operations depended on manual management.

Our encounter with the DRESS CODE was truly eye-opening. Its architecture, which seamlessly links HR and IT assets while automatically visualizing software usage and device activity across the organization, represents a structural and holistic approach that clearly stands apart from conventional SaaS.

We are confident that it will significantly resolve our compounded challenges of manual dependency, inefficiency, and security risk.

What convinced us further was the product vision behind the DRESS CODE. We deeply resonate with its philosophy and are excited to not only use it as our internal operational foundation but also actively propose it to our client companies.

We see great potential for the DRESS CODE to expand its value across Indonesia and Southeast Asia as a whole.

At IIJ GS Indonesia, we will act not only as a user but also as an alliance partner in driving the adoption and success of the DRESS CODE.

About DRESS CODE

The DRESS CODE Platform Overview

The DRESS CODE is a workforce management platform designed to eliminate structural friction around people and operations.

In many companies, HR, IT, and General Affairs departments often operate with separate tools, ledgers, and processes, resulting in inefficiency due to data silos, duplicated tasks, and dependency on individuals.

The DRESS CODE addresses these issues by providing a cross-functional, sustainable optimization platform.

Its unique combination of SaaS features and a marketplace approach enables it to solve operational problems that cannot be addressed by conventional single-function SaaS.

The core is built on a unified architecture and database, enabling integrated data and process design across HR, IT, and administrative departments.

The product currently comprises three series: HR Force, IT Force, and GA Force, with plans to expand to six series covering recruitment, project management, and governance.

It has already been adopted by over 160 companies across Japan and Asia, including in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, and will continue enhancing its offerings to provide essential value to users both domestically and globally.
