DRESS CODE Releases New Product, Equipment, in GA Force Series
Dress Code Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuki Ejiri) has released a new product "Equipment" that fundamentally improves corporate equipment and supplies management operations. This is the second product in the "GA Force" series, following "Places" It resolves issues that could not be solved with conventional Excel and spreadsheet management, such as unknown whereabouts, unreturned items, inventory shortages and surpluses, and audit response burdens. This significantly reduces the operational burden on general affairs departments and realizes effective asset utilization and improved management accuracy.
Background
Corporate equipment and supplies management is still often operated in a personal and fragmented manner, resulting in the following issues:
- Unclear location and usage status of equipment: Loss and unknown whereabouts frequently occur due to unrecorded temporary loans and inter-departmental transfers
- Discrepancy between management ledgers and actual items: Problems arise where inventory records exist but actual items are missing due to unreflected returns and disposals
- Complexity of procurement and inventory management: Inability to grasp inventory shortages and surpluses leads to procurement delays and wasteful costs from excess inventory
- Lack of lifecycle management: Inadequate setup of purchase dates, warranty periods, and useful life creates risks of disposal judgment delays and lease return oversights
This way, attempting to properly manage equipment and supplies places a heavy burden on the field, and as a result, there are many cases where management is insufficient. This has led to problems such as loss, unknown whereabouts, and excess inventory, resulting in increased costs and risks. To solve these issues and enable centralized and efficient equipment and supplies management, we have released "Equipment."
Product Overview
"Equipment" is a product for centrally managing diverse corporate assets. It can efficiently manage all equipment and supplies owned by organizations, from furniture and fixtures, tools, research equipment, exhibits, to office supplies. In addition to basic items such as manufacturer, model number, manufacturing date, purchase price, and warranty period, it provides comprehensive management items including lifecycle information such as breakdowns, repairs, and disposal, as well as status information such as lending and installation. This streamlines Equipment, which tends to become personal, and realizes cost reduction and maximization of asset utilization.
Key Features

Equipment and Supplies Ledger
Centrally manage all equipment and supplies in one ledger. You can check the location, quantity, and usage status of all assets from furniture and fixtures to research equipment at a glance. Break away from personal management and prevent loss risks due to unknown whereabouts and recording omissions.
Item Master Function
A function that allows companies to freely add equipment and supplies they want to handle. Flexible registration of assets that differ by company, such as furniture, tools, research equipment, and exhibits. Since management targets that cannot be handled by standardized ledgers can also be incorporated, centralized management tailored to organization-specific needs is realized.
Lifecycle Management
Centrally manage the lifecycle from purchase to disposal. Breakdown and repair history, warranty periods, etc. can be visualized. Prevent update oversights and disposal judgment delays, avoiding compliance risks.
Status Management
Manage the usage status of each piece of equipment, such as lending, return, and installation location through status management. Equipment on loan and unused assets can be grasped immediately, streamlining inventory and redistribution. By effectively utilizing underutilized equipment, new procurement costs are suppressed.
In the future, we also plan to release inventory auditing functions using QR codes. Additionally, asset management linked with application workflows such as equipment lending applications and damage reports will become possible. We will further promote the efficiency of general affairs operations and effective asset utilization.
